Obituary of Gerald Fredlund
Edwin Gerald Smith Fredlund born May 29, 1943 in Whitewood SK, son of the late Edwin and Ruby Fredlund departed this world to join his parents and his siblings, Eula and Barry at the gates of Heaven. Gerald spent a good portion of his life farming in the beautiful Qu’Appelle Valley under the wide blue skies. Later he moved to Regina, SK where his life was busy serving others in many ways – at his church, his workplace and the apartments where he lived. Gerald always had a smile on his face. He spent time studying the bible and travelling around the world through his many books, as well as doing pencil art of the places he had seen. Gerald leaves his twin sister Winnifred Paton of Abbotsford B.C.; three nieces Kimberly, Tracey and Catherine; three nephews Barry-Lynn, Graham and Jared and numerous cousins. A private interment will be held at the Evangelical Mission Church Cemetery in Stockholm, SK at a later date.
