Heimpel, Gerald “Gerry”:
Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 14, 2021, in his 88th year.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Marlene (nee Battler).
Loving father of Kevin (Irene) Heimpel, Kim (Rob) Shilliday, Scott (Erin) Heimpel and Sheri (George) Drannen.
Cherished grampa of Amy (Adam), Jake, Taylor, Cooper, Matthew, Michael, Christina and Jamie.
Gerry was a devoted family man, there was nothing more important than being a husband, dad and grampa. He enjoyed so many things in his life, from time well spent at the cottage with so many family and friends, to his backyard puppy, bird and chippy visits, travel excursions, but not forgetting his love of his Ford tractors.
Gerry’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. A private family memorial service will be held. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
