Obituary
With saddened hearts we announce the passing of our dear Dad, Gerald Elliott Young, at the age of 89 years. He passed peacefully at the Elk Point Long Term Care surrounded by family. He is survived by his children Don of Calahoo, Janice (Dick Brown) of St. Paul, Grandchildren Alyssa Young (Levi Stone), Matthew (Sarah) Young, Sarah Young, Great grandchildren Cole, Jase, Benson, Alexander and Lillian all of Spruce Grove, sister Denise (Kim) Edmonds of Fergus ON, sisters-in-law Elaine Young of Rosetown SK, Barbara Young of Regina, SK, brother-in-law Alex Labouski of Edmonton and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his wife Tillie in 1989, parents Murray and Evangeline Young, brothers Keith, Dawson, Errol, sisters Anita and Norma.
Gerald will be laid to rest beside his dear wife Tillie in the Athabasca Cemetery. “Together Again”
A service was held on Friday, June 18th, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Athabasca United Church in Athabasca, AB. Internment followed at the Athabasca Cemetery.
A special thanks to the staff at the Elk Point Long Term Care for their kind and compassionate care.
