Obituary of George Siemens
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of George Siemens. He passed away peacefully on January 29th, 2021, at the age of 86. He was a kind and loving husband to Helen(Bartel), an amazing father to their daughters, Karin (Steve) O’Bryan and Renita (Arnie) Fischer, and a wonderful Opa to his five grandchildren, Paxton, Miles, Matthew, Alyssa, and Ryan.
George immigrated to Canada in 1958 and worked for many years at General Motors in St. Catharines. He has always been a very hard worker with strong ethics and values, and had a passion for walking, reading and learning. George was extremely devoted to his family and we loved him dearly. We will miss him so much and he will be in our hearts forever!
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the staff at Greater Niagara General Hospital in Niagara Falls for their care and compassion in attending to George’s needs during his hospital stay.
Due to Covid the family will have a private service.
