Obituary of George Bernard Larmer
George Bernard Larmer passed away at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on October 20, 2021 at the age of 76.
Loving husband of Sonja (Hathaway). Father of Christian, Darren (Rano), Shawn (Caroline), and Justin (Alyssa). Much loved grandfather of Anaya, Sierra, Zachary, Eva, Annalisa. Brother and brother-in-law of Gerty of Vancouver, Arthur of Melbourne Australia, and Ed Hathaway of London. Son-in-law of Maria Hathaway of St. Marys. Predeceased by his mother Violet and brother Tony.
Despite being afflicted with Multiple Sclerosis, he was a dedicated caregiver to mental health patients running his residential nursing home in St. Marys and in London. He approached life with a never failing positive attitude and his sense of humour was one of his greatest attributes. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and socializing with friends and will be greatly missed by all. Special thanks to the staff at St. Marys Memorial Hospital.
