Suddenly at home on Wednesday January 27, 2021. George Jones age 76. Beloved husband of the late Alice (Nee Leach). Loving Dad of Evie Merkley (Dave Savage), Lee-Anne Jones and Krista-Dawn (Mike) Weegar. Cherished Poppa of Crystal, Erin, Shawn, Brittany, David, Taylor, Shane, Brandon, Zack and great-grandchildren Averie and Andrea. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Evelyne Jones, his grandson Christopher Merkley, his siblings Gilbert (late Doris) and Peter Jones. Fondly remembered by many family and friends. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at South Mountain Union Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Byers Funeral Home, South Mountain (613-989-3836).
