Mr. Walter ‘Gene’ Lazzer, beloved husband of Mrs. Marge Lazzer of Red Deer, passed away at the Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at the age of 96 years. Gene will be lovingly remembered by his wife of seventy-four years, Marge, his children, Brian (Heather), Don, Barry (Viola), Allen (Vanessa) and Brenda (Wade), his thirteen grandchildren and his seventeen great grandchildren. Gene will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Anita Kuropatwa and Gloria Moyer. In keeping with Gene’s wishes, no Service will be held. If desired, Memorial Donations in Gene’s honor may be made directly to the Lending Cupboard at www.lendingcupboard.ca, to the Alzheimer’s Society of Alberta at www.alzheimer.ca or to a Charity of the Donor’s choice.
