Obituary of Gary Scriver
Passed away at home with family by his side, on Monday December 13, 2021. Gary of Kawartha Park, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Sharon Scriver (née Armstrong). Gary, “Gerry, Geriatric, Gar Bear, or the Vet” as he was affectionately referred to by his children, will be dearly missed by his daughters, Jessie Scriver (Mark Anderson), Anna Kaschak (Trevor), and his son, David Scriver (Haley). Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Cameron and Hadley Anderson, Eve and Cruz Kaschak, and baby Scriver. Gary is survived by his brothers, Jack Scriver (Lorna), Jim Scriver (Kelly), and Randy Scriver (Debbie) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Russell and Verna, and sister Kathy Scriver. Gary will be fondly remembered by his Happy Face Hockey Team, the Michigan Tech Boys, the Stoney Lake Market Staff and his many friends. A private family interment will take place at Hillside cemetery. A celebration of Gary’s life will take place at a later date.
