Gary David Price
April 26, 1945 – July 25, 2021
Passed away Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Caressant Care Mary Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Beloved husband of Judy Price. Loving father of David (Angela) and Laura. Grandfather of Cassandra McDonald (Tyson). Survived by his mother Ruby and predeceased by his father Idris (1996). Also survived by his brother Bruce (Gerry) and in-laws Terry (Barb) Campbell and Jane (Doug) Allen. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Gary will be remembered as a great cook, host, and woodworker. He spent his retirement restoring the octagon house they purchased in Bethany. He also loved his cats and dogs, and they loved him. Gary was a caring and welcoming friend to all he met.
Gary joined the Maple Fire Department as a volunteer fireman, and was with the department for 28 years, retiring in 2000 as the Captain of Fire Prevention Department in the City of Vaughan.
There will be a private funeral service for invited guests at Lakeland Funeral & Cremation Centre on Friday, July 30 at 11:00 A.M. followed by interment at St. Mary’s Lifford Cemetery.
