Garry Wayne Fusick

It is with great sadness, Garry Wayne Fusick, of St. Marys, formerly of Stratford, passed away in University Hospital in London on June 12, 2021 at the age of 67.
Born May 2, 1954, son of Louie (2006) and Ruth (Flath). Beloved husband of Elaine Johnston. Father of Kyle Fusick (Steph), and Justine Fusick (Tim) of Exeter. Also missed by his sister Bonnie Bowra (Mike), Australia, twin brother Larry Fusick, of St. Marys and step-son Coby Johnston (Carla) of Stratford. Survived by 6 grandchildren: Charlotte Fusick, Rielynn Fusick, Norah Maver, Leo Maver, Chloe Cook-Kitching and Ellie Johnston. Uncle to Shawn Kelly (Sunlee) of Australia, Ryan Kelly (Katherine) of Stratford, Devon Boivin (Michel) of France, and Robyn Fusick-White (Larry) of Stratford.
Garry was lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stratford and also a dedicated volunteer. He was a 40 year member of the Stratford Kinsmen Club, and a 40 year employee at Bell Canada. He enjoyed his cottage on the Bruce Peninsula just as much as he enjoyed his home in St. Marys. Garry enjoyed his fish pond, gardening in his backyard and travelling during the winter months.
A private family funeral service will be held at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stratford on June 29, 2021 at 11 a.m. The service will be live streamed through the St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Facebook page. Interment in Harrington Cemetery.
