It is with sadness we announce the
passing of Gardiner Andrew Doucette, age
70, of Melrose, NB. Gardiner passed away at home on
Thursday, March 11, 2021.
Born in Amherst, NS, he was a son of the
late Joseph and Theresa (Burbine) Doucette.
Gardiner worked for Marine Atlantic for
many years. A simple man, he enjoyed working in the woods
and around home.
He is survived by his daughter Kelly
(Pierre) Cormier, Moncton, her mother Susan Doucette, Moncton, NB;
grandchildren Noah, Xavier, and Emme; siblings Joanne (Ted) Carroll,
Miramichi, NB, Bruce Doucette, Salisbury, NB, Leonard (Elaine), North
Rustico, PE, and Mary Lou (Douglas) Gallant, South Rustico, PE;
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his niece
Stephanie Carroll.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the
Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port
Elgin, NB (506-364-1300). Gardiner will be laid to rest in
the St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Cemetery, Melrose, NB at a late
date
Donations in memory of Gardiner may be
made to the charity of your choice.
