Gail Patricia Boutilier Friday October 15th 2021

Boutilier, Gail Patricia – Age 76, Truro formerly of Lanesville, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on October 15, 2021 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Anne B. (MacLellan) and John R. Rose.
Gail worked for the Federal Government, spending the majority of her career at the Halifax Dockyards. She enjoyed bingo, watching the Shopping Channel and she loved cats, especially her “Suzie.” She was a strong woman of character. Gail was well known as the family’s historian. You could ask her anything and she knew the answer. She was a great cook and her husband, Wayne, particularly loved her Corned Beef and Cabbage.
Gail is survived by her daughter, Shelley Boutilier, East River; grandson, who meant the world to her, Alexander Mitchell, East River; sister, Beverly Geddes-Crosby, Ontario.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wayne Hubert Boutilier; daughter, Wanita in infancy and son, Kenneth in infancy.
No visitation or service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, NS. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.ColchesterCommunity.com
