Our family Rose, a husband’s del i ght, her sons’ guiding beacon, her grandsons much loved Nana, has lost her last earthly pedal!
Gail Rose Albrecht has gone ahead to her Heavenly Home with Jesus! On Sunday, April 25, 2021, while sleeping, Gail quietly, and unexpectedly, left her husband Dr. Harvey, her loveable sons: Cory and Scott (and their mates Sandra and Christine), as well as her precious grandsons: Carter and Grayson, and ascended to Heaven. Also mourning her passing are her sister Gloria and Ritchie Fons, brother Conrad and Kathi Neuman, brother Tim and Carla Neuman, and brother Sheldon.
Gail was born in Camrose, AB., on January 6, 1945. Her father was a Baptist Minister, working with First Nations near Wetaskiwin, and Gail spent her first 15 years on a First Nations Reserve. High School was finished in Edmonton, and later Imperial Oil was a place she enjoyed working. Gail and Harvey married in 1970 and moved to St. Albert in 1972 – home since! Gail and Harvey were one of four couples who initially started the Sturgeon Valley Baptist Church in 1975-76. Also, Gail was a treasured, understanding, caring office assistant for some years in Dr. Harvey’s medical office.
Gail was a lady who loved people, she was a comfort to the hurting, and an inspiration to those who needed a boost. It would not be suitable to honour this wonderful lady with masks, and electronic gadgets! The family is planning a Remembrance Gathering during the summer months.
To those of you who have sent us love and spoken very many kind words about our precious Gail, please know that we cherish those kind words, realizing that she touched many. We feel honoured and Blessed that she chose to spend her life with us – Harvey, Cory and Sandra, Scott and Christine, Carter and Grayson. Very many thanks to you our friends and loved ones, for your kindness to us, and may God Bless You!
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gail Albrecht 2021..

Our kindest thoughts. Gail was also a great baker, I still use some of her recipes, 30+ years later. A lovely homemaker. Bob and Vicky Cameron
Harvey and family,
Karen and I were just stunned to hear the news. There are no words that could fully express our sadness of knowing we will never see her smiling face again, on this mortal coil. We will see her again, in heaven. She was such a special woman, and she will be missed by many, many people. We trust that God comforts those who mourn, so lean on Him for comfort. God Bless you.
