Obituary of Gabrielle Robert
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Gabrielle on November 8th, 2021, at the age of 84.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family: her husband of 43 years, Guy; her children, Maurice Phaneuf (Michelle), Della (Bruce Bates), Christina (Len Berry), Yvette (Lloyd Dreger) And Michel Robert (Angel). Her grandchildren: Cory, Danielle (Colin), Carly (Emile), Melissa (Riley), Mario, Trevor and Xzienna; as well as her great-grandchildren: Maxwell, and Wesley. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sisters Jocelyn and Solange, her brothers Aurele (Jeannette), Benoit (Thelma), Felix (Ginette), Aubin (Noreen), Yvan and countless other family and friends.
Gaby was predeceased by her parents, Jacques and Elodie Gaudet, her first husband, Lucien Phaneuf, her sister Della, her Brothers Firmin and Guy, and her son, Neil.
Gabrielle, the eldest of 10 children, was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and lived there until relocating to Ste Agathe in 1972, where she lived for the rest of her life. She was always very active in the church and community. She enjoyed curling, knitting, and gardening, and she was so proud of the beautiful quilts she made for each of us; but her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private funeral will be held on November 27, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Please join us via live stream by going to:
