G Ronald Brewer Tuesday August 10th 2021

Brewer, Ronald
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Ronald Brewer, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, on Tuesday August 10, 2021, of Hagersville, in his 91st year.
Beloved husband to Lois (nee Smith 2019); loved dad to Rhonda Remus (Dick), Sandra and Howard (Kathleen Fulop). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Ron was the superintendent of the underground department at the Hamilton Hydro until he retired at age 56. He enjoyed curling, golfing and vacationing in Florida during the winter months. Our Dad was the best father ever… we had a wonderful childhood. He was the type of person everyone should aspire to be. He was such a wonderful person with a positive attitude. He was caring, thoughtful and funny. He was the jokester and the life of the party. When people talk of him they smile and laugh out loud.
He was an active community member, a Selkirk Lion, participated in the Dog Guides, Camp Dorset, Camp Trillium and bowled for Big Brothers/ Big Sisters. His passion was the Lions Foundation Of Canada specifically Dog Guides which he canvassed and raised thousands of dollars to support the training and fostering of future dog guides.
Predeceased by his brothers, Kenny, Murray, and Gerald.
Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at White Chapel, Hamilton.
Donations to the Lions Club-Guide Dogs would be appreciated.
Online condolences and donations may be arranged through www.wmkippfuneralhome.com.
