Fredrick Scott “Ted”
Sadly the family announces the sudden passing of Fredrick “Ted” Scott 88 of Fort Frances, Ontario at his residence on Thursday April 1, 2021.
Ted was born in Fort Frances on September 13, 1932 to parents Alfred and Ethel Scott. He worked for many years driving freight truck throughout the district, retiring with the Lakehead Freightways Company.
Ted had a great love for the outdoors spending time with family and friends hunting and fishing.
He will be lovingly remembered by his partner Verla Neufeld, his step children Craig (Jackie) Neufeld and Allan Neufeld, his children Randy Scott, Gail (James) Fletcher, Raymond (Laurie) Scott, Wade Scott, Todd Scott, Jerry Scott and Dan (Tracey)Scott and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ted is also survived by his siblings Charles (Vie) Scott, Lyla Kitowski, Janet Ireton, Betty Pearson, Joan Eikre, Marge Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ted was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Ethel Scott, his brother “Sonny” Bill Scott, sister Donna Rowell, Patricia Speruk, and step son Wayne Neufeld.
As per Ted’s wishes cremation will take place and no funeral service.
Interment in Riverview Cemetery Fort Frances at a later date. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Riverside Foundation for Health by cheque, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, ON P0W 1E0.
