Obituary
ALEXANDER, Frederick “Fred” Matheson – Peacefully at his home with his family around him on Monday May 3, 2021 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Merna M. (nee Workman) Alexander for over 58 years. Dear father of Graham Alexander and Doug (Denise) Alexander. Loving grandfather of Holly Alexander and Shawn Alexander. Dear brother to Bill (Donna) Alexander. Predeceased by his parents; Bill and Flossie (nee Reason) Alexander. Fred spent his whole life dairy and chicken farming around the Hickson area. He was dedicated to his family and the farm. Fred was a market vendor at the Woodstock Farmer’s Market for over 49 years. A sincere appreciation for the support Fred received from Dr. Tam, Dr. Grayson, L.H.I.N. and St. Elizabeth’s Nursing, especially Christine. The family is truly grateful to you for ensuring Fred’s last few months were spent where he loved to be….at home with his family. A private family interment will take place at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
