“Walking Into the Evening”
We regret to announce the sudden passing of Ricky Lee Pelletier on Friday, October 1, 2021 at his home at the age of 50 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his soulmate and soon to be Wife Gertrude; children Alex, Aquilla (Ryan) and Barbara Rose; grandchildren Ayla and Ariah; siblings Dawn Marie and Scott (Theresa); nieces and nephews Dylan, Tyler, Mariah and Shane, along with extended family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Stan and Barbara Pelletier and nephew Dustin Pelletier.
Rick was a free spirit who loved to joke around and laugh. He put effort into staying in touch and visiting as many family members as he could. He was a peacemaker, and he loved to travel. Everyone that knew him knew that his favorite song was “Patience” by G’n R. He was about to start a business doing tattoos. Rick loved children and always made sure to stay close to them. He was very traditional, and was very close with his brother and sister. Rick loved wearing cowboy hats, going to concerts, watching hockey, playing his guitar and working out. His hobbies included creating art, and woodworking, and he always enjoyed hanging out with the people he loved and having an intelligent conversation.
Rick was a beautiful soul, loved especially by children and animals. He will be greatly missed.
Wake will take place at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Saturday, October 9, 2021 beginning at 4:00 pm. Feast and Ceremony will be held at Long Plain Spirit Lodge on Sunday, October 10, 2021 beginning at noon followed by burial at the Woods Myran Cemetery.
