Obituary
Frederick (Fred) Doran of North Arm, Holyrood passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family on Thursday, October 14th, 2021 in his 73rd year. He was predeceased by his father & mother, William and Veronica, brothers; William Jr., Martin and Patrick (Pad). Left with loving memories are his two children; Sonya (Chris) and Keith (Marina), grandkids: Glenda Woodford, Evan Woodford & Lindsey Woodford, sisters: Mary Fewer (Lou), Kay Ghaney (Sid), Pat O’Connell, Christine Leonard (Anthony), Madonna Manning (Barry) and Sylvia, brothers: Jack (Rose), Joe (Patsy) and Leo (Mary), as well as many nieces, nephews and a large circle of extended family & friends, his life long neighbors, Mike & Margie Woodford and especially his legion buddies.
At Fred’s request, cremation has taken place. Resting at Dunphy’s Funeral Home, Holyrood. In keeping with Covid-19 Restrictions, public visitation, everyone is welcome, will take place on Monday, October 18th, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be by invitation only due to COVID-19 Restrictions. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holyrood on Tuesday, October 19th, 2021 at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at a later date, at Holy Cross Cemetery, Holyrood.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
