Frederick Fred Clement December 12 2021

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Frederick (Fred) Clement on Sunday, December 12, 2021 in his 91st year. Beloved husband of June (nee Steward) for 68 years. Cherished dad of Judy & the late Larry (2017) Stewart; Richard & Aline; Gerald (Pete) & Doreen; and Sue & Ken Morrison. He will be greatly missed by 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Fred is predeceased by his parents, Samuel Gordon & Nettie (Boomer); sisters, Irene and Pansy, brother George, and granddaughter Leanne (2004) . He will be forever remembered by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Fred is a retired employee of the Ministry of Transportation where he worked for 40 years. He loved spending time with his family. Fred enjoyed many winters as a snowbird in Florida, where he always looked forward to competitive horseshoes and shuffleboard games. His other passions included woodworking, camping, fishing, country music, playing cards, painting and was an avid baseball fan.
A private family service will be held at the Keith Ovington Funeral Home, 134 King St., Burford, Ontario. The family would appreciate memorial donations to Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice. Keith Ovington 519-449-1112 www.keithovington.ca
