It is with great sadness that the family of the late Franklin (Frank) Kenneth Pike announce his passing on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the age of 90 years. He passed away peaceful at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital in St. John’s with his loving family by his side. He leaves to mourn the love of his life Audrey; his loving daughters: Lynn (Ric) Smith and Cathy (Mark) Gash; grandchildren: Jennifer (Tim), Suzanne (Matthew) and Jillian; great-grandchildren: Alice, Claira, Brooklynn and Sadie; sister Geraldine Spare; sisters-in-law: Joan Motty and Shirley Barnes (Clarence deceased); brother-in-law Carl (Rita) Brake; as well as a large circle of niece, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Paul, parents Ethel and Arthur, brothers Cecil, Samuel, Harold, Bram and Arthur, sisters Irene, Mary, Jean, Mildred and Myrtle. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. following Covid-19 guidelines. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18 at 2:00 p.m. from All Saints’ Anglican Church, Clarence Street with Rev. Tanya White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Parkinson Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, 136 Crosbie Road, St. John’s, NL A1B 3K3. www.nlparkinson.ca.
