Obituary of Frank Elwood O’Brien Sr.
O’BRIEN, Frank Elwood Sr. – Age 86 of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully at the South Shore Regional Hospital on April 25, 2021 after a long battle with C.O.P.D and other complications.
Frank worked at the Atlantic Fiberglass Plant in Mahone Bay until he retired due to health issues. He loved the outdoors fishing, feeding the birds and any stray that might come along. He also played guitar on the radio in his younger years.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Banks) O’Brien, Bridgewater; daughters, Wendy Arenburg, Upper Branch; Linda (Ransford) Naugler, Middlewood; Darlene (Wade) Croft, Camperdown; son, Frank O’Brien Jr., Bridgewater; brother, Gary (Darlene) O’Brien. Back Center; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father, Erlston O’Brien; mother, Hazel (Naugler) O’Brien; brothers, Evan, Stanley; sister, Joyce.
We would like to thank Dr. West and the staff at the South Shore Regional Hospital for the exceptional kindness, compassion and care given to all at this very difficult time.

Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. A private family graveside will take place.
