Frank Joseph Ries March 14th 2021

On March 14, 2021 Frank Joseph Ries passed away peacefully at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Unit 3-5 Veterans Ward, Regina, SK with his wife, Judy, by his side.
Frank was born at Indian Head, SK in 1922 and resided there until 1994 when he retired to Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. Retirement was fully enjoyed after farming as he loved to travel, golf, dance and play cards. He played a beautiful harmonica and enjoyed countless family gatherings!
Frank served in the RCAF as an air frame mechanic from 1939-1945. He then joined a road construction crew building the #1 Trans-Canada Highway from Qu’Appelle to the Manitoba border. He then went back to farming until retirement.
He was the kindest, most gentle person you could ever want to meet. Frank had a great sense of humor and loved to play tricks on you!!
Due to Covid-19, a Private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If you so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Regina or your choice of charities.
A special “thank you” to Dr. G. Bailey and the wonderful staff of Unit 3-5 Veterans Ward, Wascana Rehabilitation Centre, Regina, SK.
A very special “thank you” to Frank from Judy for being my life-long partner and best friend. I will love you forever! Until we meet again, mahalo!!

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Frank Joseph Ries March 14th 2021..
