François Landry 2021

Bathurst- François Landry husband of Madeleine (Fournier) Landry passed away Thursday June 24, 2021 at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst at the age of 80.
Born in Nouvelle, QC he was the son of the late Henri and Evelyne (Cormier) Landry.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters: Suzanne Cyr (Dennis) of Bathurst, Ginette Landry (Marcel Lagacé) of Mirabel, QC and Solange Gaudet (Mike) of Dieppe.
Four grandchildren: Kevin, Bryan, Nicholas and Martin.
Two brothers: Léonard (Lucienne) of Belledune and Jean-Paul Statesboro, Georgia, USA; six sisters: Sr Elisabeth Landry of the Ursuline Congregation of Magog, Qc, Rose-Ida Bujold (Gérard) of Châteauguay, Qc, Françoise Losier (Guilmond) and Carmelle Fournier (James), both of Bathurst, Véronique Nadeau (Marc) of Gatineau, Qc and Bernadette Landry of Dieppe, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers: Gérard, Martial, Rosaire and Jean-Marie and one sister, Thérèse.
François worked as a contractor most of his life.
The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Emergency Department and the Palliative care unit of the Chaleur regional Hospital, in particularly Doreen, for the great care given to François.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst on Wednesday June 30th, 2021 by invitation only.
In memory of François donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
