Obituary
Francis George Eastman of O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the age of 65 years.
Francis was predeceased by his parents Arnie and Louisa Eastman, his sister Pauline Roulette, his brothers Adrian, Gary and Douglas, his cousin Lucille Cook, and his brothers-in-law Michael Roulette, Arnold Mousseau and Norman Richard.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish many fond memories; his daughter Sayla Eastman (Derek), his grandchildren Rhea (Munchkin), Remmington (Bad Boy), and Liam (Small Man), his brother Bryan Eastman (Bernice), his sisters Genevieve Mousseau, Dorothy Richard, his sister-in-law Mary Eastman, his nieces Crystal, Cherylynn (Fatty), Darcie, Delanie (Bob), Ella and Amelia and his nephew Michael Jr, and numerous extended family members and many friends.
A traditional wake for Francis will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 beginning at 3:00 pm from Francis’ residence, House 4210, O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation,
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi (Crane River) Band Hall, O-Chi-Chak-Ko-Sipi First Nation.
Interment in the Crane River Reserve Cemetery.
In accordance with Manitoba public health guidelines and at the request of the family, all persons attending the services are required to wear masks and be double vaccinated.
