BARBER, Francis Lenix “Frank”
Frank Barber died peacefully, at Cassellholme, North Bay, on Friday, March 26, 2021. He was in his 80th year. Frank was the dear brother of the late Adrian “Addie” Barber (Ruth), Stella Church (the late Leonard) of Mattawa, the late Orval Barber (Phyllis of Nipissing), the late Eleanore Beatty (the late Jim), the late Beth Cross (the late Lloyd), Clarke Barber (Mae) of Hotham, Jim Barber (Helen) of Callander, the late Donna Saunders (the late Bill) and Brenda Stillar (the late Evie) of Powassan. Frank will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Frank was a lifelong resident of Hotham, a farmer, logger and avid outdoorsman. The Barber family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Thursday, April 1, at the funeral home, at 11:00 am. COVID-19 protocols will be strictly enforced: Masks must be worn, hands must be sanitized upon entry, physical distancing must be maintained and attendance will be limited to 50 persons at one time. Spring interment will take place at Nipissing Cemetery. For those who wish, donations in Frank’s memory to the Restoule Legion or Restoule Lions Club would be appreciated (addresses below).
