Hagen, Francine (nee Wagensveld)
Born in Utrecht on June 19, 1947, Francine Hagen peacefully died at home surrounded by her family on December 1, 2021, in her 75th year. She will be lovingly remembered by Sue Longmire. Loving mother of Pamela Summy (Roy), Sandra Delargie (Rich), and Alan Hagen (Tanya). Dear grandmother of Nicole Delargie (Kaila), Ethan and Keeren Hagen. Dear sister of Art Wagensveld (Magda), and Frances Stankiewicz (Alex). Predeceased by her brother Herman & Jack Wagensveld and sister Rina Barton. Francine previously worked years at Chedoke Brow, then made a career at Women’s Detox which later became Women Kind. Special thanks to our neighbours, family and previous co-workers for your care and kind words during this difficult time.
Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Friday, December 3rd from 10-11am followed by a chapel service in the funeral home at 11am. Cremation to follow. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, anyone in attendance must RSVP either on the website at www.dermodys.com or by phoning 905-388-4141. All in attendance must wear a mask and practice social distancing.
