Francesco (Frank) Ghilarducci passed away peacefully in Surrey, BC on October 9, 2021 at the age of 81.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Irene, son Paul (Amanda), daughter Diana (Jason); grandchildren Aidan, Mackenzie and Brooklyn; sister Annunziata, brother Mario and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother Argene, father Regolo and brothers Paulino, Pietro, Enzo and Giuseppe.
He was born to parents Regolo and Argene, on March 21, 1940 in Tassignano, Italy. He came to Canada in 1966 and settled in Trail BC where he met his wife of 52 years, Irene.
Frank was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. Frank was passionate about gardening, cooking and his Italian heritage. He enjoyed making wine, and sharing his baking with his neighbours and friends. He loved sports; a dedicated fan of the Vancouver Canucks, Juventus soccer club, the Italian National team and many more. Frank touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, 8842 119th Street, Delta, BC on October 21, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Laurel Place Hospice (Surrey, BC). The family would like to thank Laurel Place Hospice for their compassionate care.
