Frances V. Stalsworth – age 90 of Corryton, TN went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was an avid crafter/seamstress who loved to share her talents with other people. She was a longtime member of Roseberry Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Tommy Stalsworth; parents, Dallas and Christina Riffey; son, Ray Stalsworth; sons-in-law, Harry Edwards and Larry Butts; brothers, Dallas Riffey, Jr., Jack (Ginny) Riffey; sisters, Flora Etta (John) Leadbetter, Marion (Earl) McClain; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Moore, Don Bennett, Jerry Newman, Earl Edwards and John Hitch.
Survived by children, Gail (Edwards) (Len) Noah, Sheila (Tim) Collins, Cindee Stalsworth, Penny Butts, and Cindy (Perry) Chandler; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and nine great great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff of Chandler House Assisted Living in Jefferson City for the love and care given to her and her family.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021, at Bridges Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Greg Jones officiating. Family and friends will meet 1:15 PM on Sunday at Bridges Funeral Home and go in procession to Roseberry Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. Pallbearers: Jeremy Shaw, Chad Shaw, Jay Miller, Matt Miller, Nate Miller, and Josh McVey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 5801 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919, in memory of Frances.
