AFFLECK, Frances
Passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Bruce. Loving mother of Kelly, Derek (Lesley) and Jason. Cherished grandmother of Alexandra, Eric, Ryan, Kianna, Olivia and Emily. Predeceased by her brother David, and sisters Mildred and Alice. Frances was always so full of life and loved to travel. She will be lovingly remembered by her dear friend Helen, (the last remaining of the lifetime group of five), and by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 12:00-1:00pm at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (South side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595. Tributes will be shared at 2:00pm. Frances will be laid to rest with her late husband Bruce at Mt. Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to the Lakeridge Health – Cancer Care.
