Obituary of Florence Singer
Singer, Florence Rebecca – 95 of Minasville, it is with broken hearts we announce her passing on February 25th, 2021 in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor. Born in Walton on February 21st, 1926 she was the daughter of the late William and Doris (Conley) Davis.
Florence loved hooking mats, quilting and knitting until age 93. She enjoyed old-time music with Maple Sugar and Strawberry Roan, jam sessions were her favorite. Florence was famous for her witty sayings.
She is survived by sons Ron (Elaine), Moose Brook, Rick (Anne), Cornwall PEI, Rod (Wilma), Dartmouth, grandchildren Blaine (Kathy), Bonnie (Wayne), Belinda (Cory), Bethany (Cory) MacDonald, Maura (Victor) Van Hul, John (Britney) Munro, grandson-in-law Jamie (Sherri) Rines, greatgrandchildren Matt (Kayla) & Scott Rines, Megan Singer, Lexie & Braya MacDonald and Rueni & Cella Van Hul.
Florence is predeceased by husband Harry, daughter Anne Munro, siblings Etta, Lillian and Creighton.
Cremation has taken place, there will be a private family graveside service held in the Moose Brook Cemetery at a later date.
