Obituary of Florence Alice West (Nee Brown)
March 25th, 1939 – November 28th, 2021
Florence was born and raised in Kimberley, British Columbia, and was well known around the community. Florence had a huge circle of friends, some even from childhood. She was always up for shopping, lunch, dinner, or trips to the casino. Florence worked as a flight attendant for TCA, she also worked at the Cominco office, Kimberley Medical Clinic and Crestbrook Forest Industries.
Florence married Roy West in 1963, and then followed the birth of their daughter, Darcy, in 1968. Florence was known for her love of golf, circle of friends and how thoughtful and caring she was.
Florence is survived by her daughter Darcy, son-in-law Carey, grandson Dylan and her brother, Bob Brown.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Roy, mother Katherine and her father Robert.
A Celebration of Life gathering in honour of Florence will take place in early 2022.
