Peacefully on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at Victoria Hospital, in his 87th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Betty, for 28 years. Loving father of Jimmy, Rick, Paul (Kim), Shawn (Michelle), Anne (Les), Debby (Jim), Dwight, and Wayne (Laurie). Cherished Papa and grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also missed by Elaine, and his nephew Steve. Predeceased by his sister, Mardie Ovens. The family would like to thank Dr. D. Leger and the staff of the CCU at Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Jim are asked to consider Diabetes Canada, the London Regional Cancer Program, or a charity of your choice.
