Fern Sabola 2021

Fern Adelle Sabola (Zintel)
April 29, 1917-June 29, 2021 (104 years)
Our beloved mother and grandmother, the invincible Fern, passed peacefully at her loving home Marian Residence in Cambridge. We were grateful to have celebrated her recent, amazing 104 Birthday with her in person.
Predeceased by parents Alex Zintel and Ethel Maude Hodgson of Cayuga, sister Helen Winkworth of Cayuga husband of 64 years (Musicman) Andy Sabola of Hagersville, and sisters in law Francis Robinson of Hagersville and Mary Hare of Port Dover.
Survived by only child David Sabola and his wife Sheryl of Cambridge, grandchildren Jordan and Mikayla, step Grandchildren Kris (Tiffany) and Ben Woodley.
Fern and Andy had a lifetime home on Main Street in Hagersville, which Andy converted from a single room dress shop purchased from sister Mary.
Fern was a member of the IOOF lodge and Rebekahs. She was the oldest resident at her retirement home of many years referred to lovingly as “The Queen” She was at peace with her long life and ready to meet her Lord and Saviour. Our accustomed permanence of her in our lives will be sadly missed.
At her request she will be cremated and there will be no visitation. A public graveside service will be held at the Hagersville Cemetery on Sunday July 25, at 2 pm. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank-you to the Sisters and staff of Marian Residence of Cambridge for their dedicated and loving care they gave to our mom.
Arrangements by Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Fern Sabola 2021..
