Obituary
It is with great sadness and loss to announce the passing of our beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, Uncle, and Brother. Felix was an outstanding man. He would always help anyone out who was in need of help. He would give the shirt off his back. Felix loved gardening and took such great pride in his harvest or as he called it “The Back Nine”.
He enjoyed going to Anishinaabek classes at the Nokomis Learning Centre, learning and sharing his wisdom. Felix also loved to take hiking trails, he loved making his homemade chow-chow, apple butter, and making homemade breads and scones.
He is survived by his wife, Christine-Alice, sons: Donald (Nee Baa), Patrick, Kenneth Lewis. Daughters, Yulanda (Buddy-Morris), Bobbi and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Felix the last surviving member of his family whom all predeceased.
Visitation for Felix will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Skinner Funeral Home,
Lansing Chapel.
Felix will travel back to Canada for a wake at Buzwah Church on Saturday June 26 th and Sunday June 27thwith funeral services taking place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at the church.
Interment will follow to Kaboni Cemetery Wikwemikong 1st Nation Manitoulin Island Ontario, Canada.
