1919-2021
Farlie Clement Inglis, age 102, of the Northumberland
Veterans Unit, Pictou and formerly of New Glasgow, passed away Monday,
October 18, 2021, in the Northumberland Veterans Unit. Born in New
Glasgow, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (MacPherson)
Inglis. He was a veteran of the Second World War. He worked for
Thompson and Sutherland for 35 years. Farlie was a member of Saint
Andrews Presbyterian Church; and Albion Masonic Lodge for over 65
years. He enjoyed his daily visits and walk at the mall. He is
survived by a son, Allan (Arlene), Little Harbour; step granddaughter,
Jane Hughes, Halifax; nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his
wife, Ruby (Campbell); brothers, Harold and Alex; a sister in infancy.
A private burial will take place in Lorne Street Cemetery. Donations
in his memory may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements are
under the direction of R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New
Glasgow.
