REMEMBERING HER LIFE
Ev will forever be in the hearts of her husband, children, grand children, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and life-long friends. Ev & Chuck welcomed everyone with warmth and love into their homes in Yorkton, Regina, Winnipeg and Lake of the Woods.
Ev was born in Redvers, Saskatchewan and was raised on the family farm near Antler with her Mom & Dad (Gilbert & Georgette Bauche) and her siblings (Gisele, David, Julie, Jerry and Yvette).
She attended schools in Bellegarde & Redvers. She was active in Sports (baseball, hockey, Ringette and curling). In 1971 Ev studied at the Assiniboine College in Brandon, Man. where she received her Accounting Diploma. She then pursued her career in Moosomin, SK.
Ev moved to Winnipeg in 1974 where she worked for Gardewine and Sons and then Swystun & Co. In 1974 her first son Corey was born. In 1975 Chuck & Ev reunited to begin their life together. They were married on Aug 6th, 1977. Shortly thereafter they moved to Yorkton, SK. Ev continued her career and worked for Leon’s Manufacturing. She was an avid baseball player during their time in Yorkton. Their daughter Jodie was born in December of 1980.
In July of 1981 they moved to Regina where she worked for the Liquor Commission and also started her Bookkeeping & Income Tax business. After that Ev worked for the Saskatchewan Farm Debt Review Board. She excelled in her role advocating for farmers and was highly recommended to the Winnipeg Office when they moved. She also played baseball in Regina and continued to meet many more life-long friends. Their son Jamie was born in March 1983.
In March of 1987 Ev & Chuck moved back to Winnipeg with their family where Ev worked with MB Mediation Board & Farm Credit Corporation for many years. Ev enjoyed a great social life and actively participated in many community sports. Most importantly were the Misty Blues ringette & the Edgemont Enemas slow pitch teams where she developed many new lifelong friendships. Ev & chuck retired & moved to Lake of the Woods in Aug. of 2012. She enjoyed many memorable trips. She always brought so much exuberance & love to all who crossed her path.
Ev’s beautiful soul will be greatly missed and dearly remembered by Chuck, her husband of 44 years, their three children & six grandchildren. Their son Corey of the Cayman Islands and his children, Charlotte and Jacob. Their daughter Jodie of Fort Francis and her children, Livia & Mya. Their son Jamie (Anna) of Calgary and their children, Kayden & Jace. Ev’s siblings; Gisele, David (Marlene), Julie, Jerry, Yvette (Terry) & numerous nieces & nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Gilbert & Georgette Bauche.
