Evelyn’s Obituary
Shortell, Evelyn – 83, North Wallace, passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021, at home. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late John and Beatrice (Slauenwhite) Warner. Evelyn and her husband “Sonny” moved to North Wallace in 1993. She enjoyed playing bingo, loved feeding people and was truly loved and appreciated by all who knew her. She is survived by sons, Robert (Elaine) Shortell, North Wallace, Raymond (Brenda) Shortell, Timberlea; daughter, Shelley Shortell (Stan), Wallace; grandchildren, Jason (Holly) Shortell, Chris (Michelle) Shortell, Dillon (Madeline) Shortell, Cindy Shortell (James); six great grandchildren; siblings, Barbara Collier, Spryfield, Richard (Judy) Warner, Harriettsfield, Robert (Judy) Warner, White’s Lake; several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband William John “Sonny” Shortell. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
