Evelyn Ruth Link Tuesday March 2nd 2021

Link, Evelyn Ruth (Nee Peters):
Peacefully in her sleep went to be with her Lord and Saviour on March 2, 2021 at her home in Maryhill at the age of 86. She was the devoted and loving mother to her four children Elrone (Donnie) Bowman, Angela (John) Vanderberg, Ralph (Judy) Link and Wilfred Link. She was the best Grandma to Kerilynn (Tyler), Janna (Matt), Ryan (Rebecca), Andrea (Adam), Kyle and Nick. Evelyn was a much-loved Omi to her great-grandchildren Maggie, Greta, Ellis, Daisy, Emmie and Isaac. Her cherished sister, Lotti Packmor will miss her dearly. She was a special aunt to Elinor (Eric) and many other nieces and nephews. Evelyn will be remembered by her special life-long friend Annette, and many others. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 52 years, Ernst and her siblings Elvira, Jakob and Susi.
Evelyn was a devoted prayer warrior with a life-long dedication to the study of scripture. She was a long time member of Grandview Baptist Church in Kitchener. She was passionate about her work as a nurse and this transferred to her care and compassion as a founder and owner of Twin Oaks of Maryhill.
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”
A private service will be held at Henry Walser Funeral Home. Those who are unable to attend the service are invited to view the service at 4 p.m. on March 6, 2021 at www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
