Evelyn Mary Reynolds 19242021

Evelyn Mary Reynolds
1924-2021
December 5, 1924 –
January 31, 2021
With heavy
hearts, we say goodbye to Evelyn Mary Reynolds, aka “Auntie
Eve” on January 31, 2021.
A determined,
feisty, strong and independent woman, she was determined to make it to
age 96 and she did. She was proud to be the longest living Reynolds
woman; proud to own Reynolds Beauty Salon with her sister Mabel for
almost 5 decades; proud of being the first Reynolds woman to have a
license to drive a car which enabled her to drive to age 92, a feat
that allowed her to go daily to the nursing home to see her beloved
sister Cora; and proud to be a beloved aunt and sister.
Predeceased by her
parents William and Mary, sisters Mabel, Ethel and Cora and brothers
Jim, Howard, Gordon and Clifford. She will be greatly missed by her
dear brother Verne (Jean) and will be fondly remembered by many nieces
and nephews.
We would like to thank
McCormick Home staff for their wonderful care, especially the team
from Willow Ridge who made her last address a loving and respectful
home and for the honour guard that sent her on her final journey.
Special thanks to niece Karen for her thoughtful care, love and
support.
Cremation has taken
place.
Due to Covid-19 there
will be a private interment with a memorial celebration at a later
date.
Donations to McCormick
Care Foundation, 2022 Kains Road, London, ON N6K 0A8 are
greatly appreciated.
Arrangements entrusted
