At Meadow Park Nursing Home, on Friday August 27th, 2021, Evelyn Chapman-Lewis of Chatham passed away at the age of 84 years. Cherished daughter of the late Harry and Agnes Lewis. Beloved sister of Shirley Cates and her husband Jack and predeceased by her sister Phyllis Robertson and brother Burl Lewis. Loving aunt of Doug Robertson and his wife Bev, Gail Reeves and her husband Ed, Sue Robertson, Jim Robertson, Nancy Cates, and Robin Doherty. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington St West, Chatham, 519-352-2710, on Wednesday September 1st, 2021, with visiting from 1 pm noon to 2 pm, with a funeral service to follow in the chapel of the funeral home at 2 pm. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, you must schedule your visitation time in advance by calling the funeral home at (519) 352-2710. All attendees as mandated by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario must wear a mask at all visitations and funerals. The funeral service will be streamed live for those unable to attend. Interment Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham. Friends planning an expression of remembrance are asked to consider a charity of choice. On-line condolences may be left at www.alexanderfuneralhome.ca
