Peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Thursday, January 21, 2021 Eva Marie Patterson (Babcock) of Glencoe passed away in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Hugh (1974). Dear mother of Perry (Dawn) and Sherry (Adina) and loving grandmother of Shayna (Derrick Therrien), Shantel (Josh Ramandt) and Jacob (Jazmin Burri). Predeceased by her twin sister Ruby (Russell)McCracken and 2 brothers Burton (Ruth) and Keith (Grace) Babcock. Lovingly remembered by Hugh’s immediate and extended Patterson family. Eva will always be cherished by her nieces and nephews, as well as friends and extended family too numerous to list but not forgotten. Eva was a teacher at local schools for many years and will be fondly remembered by countless students and colleagues. A private family service will be held at the Van Heck Funeral Home, Glencoe on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 and interment will follow at the McLean Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Four Counties Health Services Foundation and can be forwarded to the funeral home as well as online condolences. The family are deeply grateful for the compassion and care Eva received during her stay at FCHS.
