Chioreanu, Eugenia “Jenny”:
December 3, 1949 – December 19, 2021
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Eugenia Chioreanu who went to be with her Lord and Saviour; she died peacefully in her sleep at her home on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at the age of 72.
Beloved wife of the late George (2017), she is lovingly remembered by her daughters Jacqueline (Timothy), Esther (Valeriu), and Tamara. Eugenia is survived by her six grandchildren David, Sarah, Chloe, William, Daniel, and Sophia, as well as her siblings Bella, Sarah, Gizella, and Tiberius, and numerous relatives worldwide.
Eugenia was born in Romania where she came to know her personal Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. She was guided by her love for God and a deep desire to walk in his ways. She is remembered as a devout prayer warrior who prayed earnestly for countless individuals including the salvation of her family members.
Eugenia was a humble woman and her mission in life was to look after her husband, family, and home. She found deep satisfaction in raising three daughters and helping raise the next generation. She was a kind, gentle, and loving woman who brought joy and laughter to her family. Her wonderful smile and the twinkle in her blue eyes will live on in our hearts forever.
We are so sad to see her go so soon but we know that she has finished her race well and is in the presence of the Lord. She will be profoundly missed.
Eugenia’s family will receive relatives and friends from 6 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at the Romanian Pentecostal Church of God, 160 Grand River Blvd., Kitchener. A prayer service will be held at the church on Tuesday evening beginning at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the church at 11 a.m. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home.
