It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ethel Denty of Bay L’Argent announces her passing. Ethel passed away at U.S Memorial in St. Lawrence on Sunday, January 31st, 2021 at the age of 81. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughters, Debbie Dominaux (Dave Fagan) of Kelligrews, Audrey Pope (Donald) of Mt. Pearl, and Lynn Walters (Randy) of Marystown; 6 grandchildren, Michael Dominaux (Misty) of Kelligrews, Ryan Dominaux (Kayla) of Manuels, Bill Pope (Jesselle) of Alberta, Gregory Pope (Natasha) of St. John’s, Derek Walters (Melissa) of Mt. Pearl. And Patti-Lynn Walters of Edmonton; 8 great-grandchildren, Brianna, Keira, Mason, Maci, Peyton, Ella, Avery, and Everleigh; sister, Audrey Osbourne (Frank) of Little Bay East; and special friend, John Rideout, originally of Terrenceville but now residing at Cozy Quarters in Clarenville; plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Ethel was predeceased by her husband, Mason Denty; her parents, Oswald and Hilda Banfield; sister, Margaret Carter; and brother, Sidney Banfield.
The Denty Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes in Marystown on Sunday, January 31st, 2021 from 7-9pm, and February 1st and 2nd from 2-4pm & 7-9pm. As per COVID 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required. Please note that there is no food permitted in the building.
Another visitation will be held at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church on Wednesday, February 3rd from 10am to 12pm. Funeral Service will take place at St. Hilda’s Anglican Church at a time to be announced.
In Ethel’s memory donations may be made to St. Hilda’s Anglican Church or flowers gratefully accepted.
