Ernest Elwood Adams
1940-2021
The death occurred at Western Hospital, Alberton, on Tuesday
March 2, 2021 of Ernest Elwood Adams, of Elmsdale, aged 80, beloved
husband of Myra (Cahill) Adams. Ernie was born in Carleton, Lot 6 on
May 16, 1940, son of the late James and Ruth (Cornish)
Adams.
Cherished dad to Allan (Peggy),Elmsdale; Judy, Alberton and
Roger (Chrystal), Brampton, ON. Loving Pappie to Jennie (Shane)
Bernard, Coady Adams, Brandon Van Meeteren, Rebecca Rozon (Adrian
Ramkellowan) and his great grandchildren McKinley Bernard, Benjamin
and Amelia Ramkellowan.
Ernest is also survived by his brothers and sisters in law,
Melvin MacKay, Nadine Cahill, Evoila (Keith) Peters, Roy (Jean)
Cahill, Wendell (Lucy) Cahill and Dorothy Thibert, and by many nieces
and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, sisters and brothers in law Doris
(Ralph) Duggan, Irene (Edward) Smith, Shirley MacKay, Holland Cahill,
Charlie Thibert and brother William.
Resting at Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel,
O’Leary. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family
visitation and funeral will be held. Interment in the Spring in
Elmsdale United Cemetery.
