It is with the utmost sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Eric Bailey on Friday December 17, 2021. Eric lived his 66 years on his farm in Cooper, Ontario.
Son of the late Christie and Ruth Bailey (Nee Empy). Proud father to Katie Bailey (William Lewis) of Ashton, and Brittany Renaud of Belleville. Lovingly remembered by his only grandson, Theodore Renaud (“Theodorable”).
Dear brother to Ralph Bailey, Jane (Mike) Derry, Joan (Don) Campbell.
In keeping with Eric’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of life will be held at the family cottage where Eric loved spending time with great friends and family.
Eric, a lifelong farmer, had worked 24,000 days straight and is now finally able to “rest”. He will be greatly missed.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated.
