Obituary
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend on Wednesday September 22, 2021.
After a long private battle with cancer he passed away in St.John’s at the age of 74. He was surrounded by his favourite people. Emil was predeceased by his father Jordan, his mother Maria and his aunt Nikolina.
Leaving to mourn are his loving wife of thirty years Jackie, his devoted children Valeria, Jordan, Detelina (Louie), Emilia and his step children Tina (Jason), Gary (Debbie) and Nicole (Robert). Grand children Maria (Johnlee), Taylor, Vencislav, Tanya,Madelaine, Kelsey, Mitch and Katelyn, and his great grandson Harley. His dearest life long friends Maria, Peter, Stefan, Bojo, Stelfka, Vera, Vesela, and Kotzeto, and many more friends and his treasured cat and Best Home Buddy Pounce. We will miss his beautiful art, his amusing story telling from travel adventures with Jackie , love for languages and history, his unconditional love for his family, his gentle heart and his wicked sense of humour.
Also we would like to thank the health care team at the Miller Centre for their kind and compassionate care .
Private funeral by request only, cremation to follow. Part of his ashes will be spread in his hometown Plovdiv in Bulgaria.
