Emeline Francis, Born January 21, 1944, in Heart Lake First Nation (Imperial Mills, AB) passed away on June 29, 2021, in Edmonton, Alberta.
Emeline is Survived by her daughter, Darlene Francis; grandchildren Brett, Montey and Ryley; son, Darryl Francis; and his wife, Bev Cardinal; stepchildren Luanne, Jaden; and daughter, Connie Francis; children: Nathan, Shania, Jacel, Justice, Eric Jr., Ethan, Daniel) Teddy, Clint, Keisha, Julian, Ricky, Darryl, Zachary (children of late Judy Francis)
Predeceased by her father, Julian Monias; mother, Lillian Monias; spouse, Dolphus Francis, spouse, Alphonse Gregoire; thirteen siblings; sister-in-law, Algina (Daniel) Monias; daughter, Judy Francis; son, Eugene “Magoo” Francis; Preston Cardinal, Kristy Cardinal (children of late Eugene Francis) and several great grandchildren.
The family is holding a visitation at 2 p.m. Tuesday July 8, 2021, at Park Memorial Chapel Edmonton, AB.
There will be a wake at 2 p.m. Wednesday July 9, 2021, at Heart Lake Community Multiplex, Heart Lake First Nation, AB.
A funeral will take place at 1 p.m. on Thursday July 10, 2021, at Heart Lake Community Multiplex, followed by interment service at Heart Lake Cemetery.
