Obituary of Ellenor Storbakken
Ellenor Storbakken was born to Alfred and Hazel Meland at Hardisty, Alberta on October 17, 1934, and passed away peacefully in the Killam Hospital on November 13, 2021, at the age of 87 years.
Ellenor enjoyed life on the farm, raising her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Storbakken; her sons Lorne and Larry (Vicki), daughter-in-law Lana; grandchildren Ryan, Dena (Aaron), Craig (Nikki), and Amy (Chad); great-grandchildren Ty, Esmee, Roan, Hayes, Kip, Ellie, and Sonny. Also left to cherish her memory are her sisters Sylvia and Elaine, brother Hugo, sister-in-law Ruth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ellenor was predeceased by her son Lynn, grandson Christopher, and sister Evelyn.
A private family service will be held. Memorial donations in memory of Ellenor may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor’s choice.
