Ella was a personable, fun loving, faith filled woman, trying her hand at a variety of crafts such as; crochet, knitting, sewing, ceramics, cake decorating, musical instruments of assortment, even mastering the computer technology of Face Book. She enjoyed table games such as Dominos, Skipbo, Crokinole, Pit and Word Games. She welcomed the young people in for birthday parties, an evening of games, sometimes a taffy pull, enjoying their laughter and busy chatter.
Her hands kneaded dough into loaves of bread and cinnamon rolls as well as dolloping large amounts of meringue onto a lemon pie. Her enjoyment of cooking and baking led her to accept employment in a logging camp as “The Cook”.
Mom, you played such an important role in our lives, we will deeply miss you and look forward to the resurrection morning when Jesus awakens you from your sleeping place.
